Environmentally Friendly Spray Foam Insulation: Ultra-Pure™
"Better Foam by Design"
Looking for an environmentally friendly spray foam that's sustainable without sacrificing efficiency? Natural Polymers, LLC introduces the new Ultra-Pure™ spray foam insulation. A product designed by industry-leading chemists and approved by professional sprayers. Ultra-Pure™ spray foam insulation for green buildings combines eco-consciousness with high-yield results. See how eco-friendly spray foam insulation can transform your job site and increase revenue.
Ultra-Pure™ for Both Open and Closed Cell Formulations
Ultra-Pure™ spray foam insulation comes in a 2.0 lb density closed-cell spray foam and a 0.50 lb density open-cell spray foam. The Ultra-Pure™ 2.0 and Ultra-Pure™ 0.50 are a two-component polyurethane foam system that can only be applied by System Trained Installers (STI) trained in the complete system requirements. These energy-efficient products meet or exceed all current building code requirements and is below the California air quality standard CA 01350.
Ultra Pure™ Low VOC spray foam products can only be installed by System Trained Installer (STI) trained in the complete system requirements and is available through Natural Polymers and IDI Distributors. Installer training began in early 2022.
Bio-Based Spray Foam Insulation for Green Buildings
Today, more than ever before, consumers are demanding products that are safer and pose less risk to themselves and the environment. This is why Natural Polymers has developed one of the lowest-VOC spray foam insulation systems on the market. Better indoor air quality starts with building materials that have less off-gassing and low VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Find industry-leading insulation for your green buildings with environmentally friendly spray foam insulation technology that’s ahead of its time.
MARKET LEADING LOW VOC SPRAY FOAM INSULATION SYSTEMS
Natural Polymers preselects raw materials that are already low in VOCs as the foundation of our design for environmentally friendly spray foam. Low VOC raw materials go through a special distillation process to reduce trace amounts of impurities that can develop in the manufacturing process, so not all raw materials are low in volatile chemicals. When developing our bio-based spray foam insulation systems, we also identify any undesirable side reactions that might occur during the foaming process. These side reactions are then targeted with special reactive and odor-capturing agents to mitigate unwanted smells or trace amounts of VOC. By balancing the chemical reactions more completely, the side reactions can be controlled using a unique combination of proprietary additives. Once these side reactions are controlled or eliminated, the result is an Ultra-Pure™ spray foam with one of the lowest chemical emissions signature on the market and better foam by design!
While all of Natural Polymers’ spray foam products are considered low VOC by current standards, Ultra-Pure™’s VOC is below quantifiable limits (BQL). If your goal is to find the lowest emission insulation product on the market, look no further. Ultra-Pure™ spray foam insulation sets the bar with results well below testable limits of current standards.
Creating these environmentally friendly spray foam systems was no accident. It is the result of dedicated chemists creating a great foam using the lowest VOC ingredients possible and then working with applicators and contractors to achieve these same results out in the field. When designing high-performance, LEED or green buildings, every aspect of the structure should be environmentally friendly and sustainable—including the insulation.
Highly Skilled Insulation Applicators
To meet Ultra-Pure™’s specification, a higher level of training is required. Ultra-Pure™ contractors and applicators must complete the IDI/Natural Polymers Ultra-Pure™ Low VOC spray foam training to work with our eco-friendly spray foam insulation. This ensures a greater level of quality control and that Ultra-Pure™ provides a higher level of performance and, adhering to the strict installation requirements, the lowest possible VOCs.
